Timelessness

I don't want to teach anything. But I wanna talk about timelessness. It's weird that it feels like a different concept from eternity. Eternity feels like a place. Timelessness feels like a quality, or trait, or state of being. It feels like Eternity holds many spaces, and some of those have a temporal feel to them, and others do not.

Timeless can be a pillar of a particular way of being, or thinking, or feeling. An essential ingredient for some state of consciousness. If I invoke this timelessness concept, I connect with myself as a radiant golden oval. An energy field that persists through all concepts of time or place. Ultimately, it doesn't  DO anything, or try to. Like a fixed object in reality. An object with a certain unique set of textures and whatever. A fingerprint. A personality. And it just IS ... on and on. It might be here, or there, depending on what angle you're seeing from. But it always IS. 

Embracing this in any given setting instantly changes  what's going on. It changes how I AM there. It changes how others feel and respond to me. It changes the invisible people who can reach and help me. Being in a state of timelessness removes every fear, every self-doubt, all feelings of overwhelm or confusion. There is only now. And I'm always in Now. I'm in every Now I'll ever know.

Contemporary spiritual awareness is not lacking knowledge. The Timeless Now is a linchpin in many traditions. Seekers, thinkers, and their insights can fill libraries about it. The devoted have woven a complex tapestry of understanding that no one of them could possibly take in alone.

The opportunity, now, seems to be tailoring tools at the individual level. Instead of projecting an idyllic mass conformity. 

Now, I understand the government(s) have training programs for improving psychic powers. Astral projection, remote viewing, communication with nonphysical entities, and so on. Standardized methods based on generations of trial and error have produced robust practices. I get that.

The issue is that all practices serve a purpose. What is the purpose? You don't use math to make love, and you don't send a rocket to Mars by watering your lawn. If the government is devising practices that let you do X, then what purpose does X serve? That will affect what's taught, where you go, what happens next.

By contrast, the spiritual path is about the unfoldment of one's relationship with All That Is. Clarifying the I in the We, and the We in the I. It's messy. For evidence, I offer The Universe. Right?

People in modern American metaphysical circles can hyperfocus on getting things right, eating the right grams of the right nutritional whatever combined with so many minutes of exercise and the secretly perfect yoga process. On and on. Meanwhile, galaxies are colliding and civilizations of many billions, spanning several star systems, are staring at the end of everything they've ever known and loved. For no apparent reason beyond "Shit Happens." Experiments closing down so new ones can start up. On and on and on. Eternity doesn't look pretty from every angle. But I digress.

The point is, timelessness seems very personal. You get there your own way, because you're "going to" (seeing from) your own location in all of reality. I'm leaning into Arabic, Indian, and Sufi music lately, in addition to my normal Ambient addiction. Then I let go of time, the way children do. And just be. Everyone seems to like me better this way. By this I mean Everybody Up There.

The challenge with timelessness is Everyone Down Here.  But that's another post. Something about timelessness being inhospitable to seeds of fear...changing the world...blah blah blah...
